Seedance is ByteDance's video family and has the most interesting control surface in the catalog. Beyond text and image input it offers Omni Reference — supplying reference material that guides the generation — and first-last-frame control, where you provide both the opening and closing frame and the model interpolates the motion between them.
First-last-frame is genuinely different from prompting. When you know exactly where a shot starts and ends, specifying both endpoints is far more controllable than describing the movement and hoping.
Versions run from 1.5 Pro through 2.0 and 2.5, with Mini variants for cheaper iteration and dedicated extend endpoints. It carries the 1.5x premium multiplier, though Mini variants are billed at the standard rate.
