Model
Ideogram
Run Ideogram v3 for images that need legible text — posters, logos, packaging and signage — plus character and reframe endpoints.
Nearly every image model garbles text. Ideogram is the exception, and it is the reason to reach for it: if the image contains a headline, a logo, a label or a sign, Ideogram renders it legibly where others produce convincing-looking nonsense.
v3 is the current version, with Character for consistent subjects across images and Reframe for extending or recomposing an existing image to a different aspect ratio.
Standard-tier at 2 credits, so running the same layout through several text treatments to find one that reads well is inexpensive.
FAQ
Ideogram — questions
Why use Ideogram over Flux or Midjourney?
Text. If the image needs legible words in it, Ideogram is markedly more reliable. For images without text, the others are usually stronger.
What does Reframe do?
Extends or recomposes an existing image to a different aspect ratio, generating the newly exposed area.
